Since kernel 2.6.27 is being marked as stable nowadays (at least in amd64), and iwlwifi drivers are now included in kernel, I recommend stabilize those packages, as otherwise, those drivers won't work (in the 4965 case is because stable version does not work with that in-kernel iwlwifi driver version). x86 *has* hardware to test, I've tried it in a gentoo I installed to a friend, and if I don't remember too bad, he had an intel 5100 wireless card :)
