Description Mart Raudsepp gentoo-dev 2008-12-29 03:17:26 UTC
Ned Ludd (solar) reports that gst-plugins-base and such don't cross-compile and has patches for gst-plugins-base.eclass that I'm going to attach as he has his https (SSL) broken at the moment

Patch to make it support cross-compilation

This is a diff between http://tinderbox.dev.gentoo.org/embedded/linwizard/overlay/eclass/gst-plugins-base.eclass and what we have currently in portage.
I'd have given a go-ahead on committing this, but I'd like to first have a quick review done (by myself when I can get to gstreamer stuff in a week or so or by Olivier or by Samuli) and perhaps a quick investigation of what are the chances of this whole sed being unnecessary through some upstream patch to support usage of system gstreamer (where this cross-compilation support complicates matters)

Fix committed by Ned after review from Olivier with communication on IRC #gentoo-dev
