We have urw-fonts-2.3.6.ebuild which uses a redhat srpm (urw-fonts-2.3-6.1.1.src.rpm). Fedora currently has: ftp://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/development/source/SRPMS/urw-fonts-2.4-6.fc10.src.rpm Version 2.4 has various bug fixes, notably (mostly) fixing the Nimbus Mono fonts. (In 2.3 many of the glyphs have incorrect width and the afm files claim widths completely out of touch with those in the pfb files.) Even with 2.4 one of the glyphs in the mono bold bolique is wrong, so a newer version of the srpm should be out in the next few days.
Thanks for the report, assigning to maintainers.
I forgot to mention: the “upstream” bug for the bad width of the \dcaron glyph in Nimbus Mono Bold Oblique is: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=478332 That should result in a bump to the srpm.
Thank you for report James. Updated fonts added to the tree.
