Description Alexey 2008-12-28 05:39:45 UTC
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/driver/xf86-video-ati/ version bump to 6.9.0.91

Reproducible: Always

That's obviously a release candidate or beta version for testing. Given how old 6.9.0 is, I think it'd be worth it though, if even just in p.mask, because I believe it gives open source support for more cards and more features for existing cards than 6.9.0, having read some of the commit logs in the past beyond 6.9.0.

6.10.0 was released:

Hmm, 0-day bump request. Please try not to do that again...

If you feel like helping, please bump the ebuild locally and let us know if it builds correctly and if it works (even with some bugs).

Thanks

ati 6.10.0 ebuild

Simple copy of 6.9.0.
Just installed and tried EXA/XAA mode: both modes gives ~2500fps (in glxgear)

Donnie appears to have bumped this, so closing.

Also, glxgears is not a benchmarking tool.
