Description Raúl Porcel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-12-24 14:38:51 UTC
$subj, i've put the texinfo-4.8-r5 ebuild from cvs attic and it compiles fine.

This makes impossible to compile stages for s390.

         cd /var/tmp/portage/sys-devel/binutils-2.16.91.0.6/work/binutils-2.16.91.0.6/bfd/doc && \
          $restore $backupdir/* `echo ".//var/tmp/portage/sys-devel/binutils-2.16.91.0.6/work/binutils-2.16.91.0.6/bfd/doc/bfd.info" | sed 's|[^/]*$||'`; \
        fi; \
        rm -rf $backupdir; exit $rc
WARNING: `makeinfo' is missing on your system. You should only need it if
         you modified a `.texi' or `.texinfo' file, or any other file
         indirectly affecting the aspect of the manual. The spurious
         call might also be the consequence of using a buggy `make' (AIX,
         DU, IRIX). You might want to install the `Texinfo' package or
         the `GNU make' package. Grab either from any GNU archive site.
