Description René 'Necoro' Neumann 2008-12-20 22:19:11 UTC
pythonmagick-0.7 seems to not compile anymore with newer versions of imagemagick (cf. bug #247148)

As there is a new version since October, it can be assumed, that this will fix it :).

I tried to use the old ebuild, but it did not work out: The new configure script uses locate (!) to find python-stuff on disk (in m4/ax_python.m4). As my slocate-db is not up2date, this yields nice results when it tries to utilize the "locate: warning: database /var/lib/slocate/slocate.db' is more than 8 days old" message as the path ;). Anyway - even as this can be disabled using "-q" as a locate option, it is still not a reliable information source. Especially, as Gentoo as the nice python-config program :)

As I'm not an M4-hacker, I leave it up to somebody else to fix it (and there are probably even more flaws in the build stuff).

pythonmagick-0.8.ebuild

Here's a quick and dirty hack that convinces it to compile.
