There are serveral things that may need to be cleared up a little in the localisation guide. They're not major, but they cause a little concern to people reading it and then wondering where the files its talking about are. 1. References to /etc/conf.d/clock are not relevant on ~ . I believe this is moved to /etc/conf.d/hwclock + /etc/localtime symlinks under openrc.Granted this is ~, but its still a little confusing. 2. It may need to be clarified that /etc/env.d/02locale is not a standard-issue file. First reading of the documentation gives the impression that this is an existing file which needs to be edited, however, this is only the case when you or somebody else has already performed this step. I think it needs to be more obvious that this is merely the *suggested* place to put this file. ( Googling for the /etc/env.d/02locale string also suggests a few other complaints related to this file not existing automagically )
The guide reads just fine -- we especially don't need to document ~arch stuff yet. It will get changed once OpenRC is stabilized; we have an open tracker bug for this.
