under: Code Listing 2.2: Verifying system profile

"lrwxrwxrwx  1 48 Apr  8 18:51 /etc/make.profile -> ../usr/portage/profiles/default/linux/sparc/sparc64/2008.0"

there is no sparc/sparc64 distinction in the new profiles, since sparc32 is no longer supported

should be: /usr/portage/profiles/default/linux/sparc/2008.0
