This one is an updated ebuild of gnugk. This one should compile with gcc-4.3.2.

Actually, it's not linked with gcc 4.3. It's just because gnugk in tree is bad written and there is no firebird IUSE. So, firebird installation is automatically checked and as you have it installed, it tries to compile something that fails.

The real issue is the failure of compile process with +firebird. I've rewrote an ebuild (2.2.7 ebuild) and I'm now looking about this bug. I will attach the ebuild and eventual patch when it's done.

sqlauth and sqlacc were not build if only firebild was enabled. It was needed by firebird.

Actually, a major rewrite of the gnugk-2.2.5 ebuild (and a version bump).

I'm repeating myself but this bug is no way linked with gcc 4.3.
