Description Roger 2003-07-23 19:26:05 UTC
Evolution-1.4.3 Fails to display Calendar.

Instead of displaying the Calendar, evolution displays Tasks.

This evolution database on my laptop has a couple of appointments this month.
On my other box, I was able to get the Calendar veiw only when selecting viewing
the Calendar by "Month".

This is an odd bug and have yet to reboot my laptop, but the other box has been
rebooted to ensure any stray processes have been killed. This appears to be an
Evolution specific coding problem.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on the Calendar module within Evolution.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Evolution displays the Task Manager module instead.

Expected Results:
Showed the Calends by day/week/month as desired.

I've just tried rm -rf or mv ~/evolution in order to start with a fresh config
and the problem still persists.

A quick work around for those that have pending appointments and need to view or edit them, you can access the "Summary Module" and you're up-coming appointments will be listed on the right side of the application.

You can click on them to edit/view them.

You can also set the preferred number of days the calendar should display at once while within the "Summary Module":

Tools > Settings > "Summary Preferences" > Schedule
(set to day, 5 days, one week, one month)

ok. resolved. found the little verticle/horizontal "bars" to resize the windows.

This update resets them all to zero (0)

Users will need to resize the windows to actually *see* the calendar.

Please mark this bug as resolved!

afaik this wasnt really a bug, its leftover settings from a 1.2 install. Altough i agree it is confusing like this.
