Comment 1 Bernard Cafarelli gentoo-dev 2008-12-16 22:35:23 UTC
Some versions of google-gadgets ( almost all < 0.10.0 for example) do not work with gcc < 4.2. This worked with 0.10.3, but not anymore apparently!
Good news is that a Fedora user already has reported the bug upstream, and they say they'll look in a workaround
Comment 2 Bernard Cafarelli gentoo-dev 2008-12-17 09:01:18 UTC
Please sync and try again, I've committed upstream patch ( or patch it manually from http://google-gadgets-for-linux.googlecode.com/issues/attachment?aid=-2956170427067372820&name=google-gadgets-for-linux-0.10.4-gcc41.patch if your mirror does not have it yet)
Comment 3 Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2008-12-17 18:55:11 UTC
Seems to merge fine now :-D

Thanks a lot for the really fast fix!
Comment 4 Bernard Cafarelli gentoo-dev 2008-12-17 20:36:25 UTC
No problem, upstream was really fast on that one! I'll notify them too
