Nico has been doing some proxy-maintenance, on x11-wm/echinus and x11-themes/pekwm-themes-hewphoria for example, and maintains the devnull overlay. He expressed the wish to help us out as a developer and with German documentation/translation. I suggested desktop-misc and desktop-wm as a logical starting point wrt herds. I agreed to mentor him.
Both herds sound fine to me. :] desktop-misc has a bunch of small packages, which we could always use help with maintaining. desktop-wm on the other hand is incredibly understaffed right now, and with me practically gone for some time, we need all the help we can get. I'll be glad to help out with herd-specific questions and such, and I'm sure many others would be as well. Good luck, Nico! =)
I won't have the time to process this before Christmas Eve and then I will be two weeks in Canary Islands so I will get back to recruiting after 7th of January.

Nico, the month has passed so what is the status? How much time do you need to finish the quizzes? If you have any problems with the questions please tell me and I'll help you. If you already have finished the ebuild quiz and your mentor has approved it we can review it without waiting for the end-quiz to be finished. If no answer will be given I'll have to close this bug and in order to reopen this bug you will have to contact recruiters with a good explanation.
Hey, I'm sorry about the delay. I was kinda busy with my life the last weeks and thus I have not touched the quiz for quite a long time. (Also I had a FS crash and hat to reinstall my PC). My plan is to set up gpg and finish the quiz the next days. You don't need to help me, yngwin's help is enough. Thanks for the offer though. If everything goes well, you will hear from me the next days :)
Nico another month have passed but we stilled received no quiz from you. I'm closing this bug as LATER and will reopen it as soon as you finish quizzes and become ready for the recruitment.
