Description Thilo Mohri 2008-12-15 11:30:53 UTC
Hi bugzilla,

i tried installing gentoo 2008.0 at a SunFire 280R over RSC (2.2). The system boots, shows me the silo prompt, i can successfull enter gentoo to boot.

After booting, at the rootshell, no keys are working anymore. The system is running fine (every 10seconds i get a cable problem due to my network cable isn't plugged in).

Any suggestions?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. connect to rsc
2. <poweron>
3. enter console at rsc
4. send break, at ok prompt enter boot cdrom
5. at silo enter gentoo

Actual Results:
no keys are working anymore.

Expected Results:
Working keyboard.

Ah i forgot to mention that this not only occurs with putty. with normal windows telnet also. Don't think that this can be a client problem.

Just doing a quick search on keyboard issues and noticed this old bug here... is this still an issue with 2010 install cd releases?

... reopening per a request on irc, and as I noticed I guess I *accidentally* somehow clicked resolve by accident! oops!
