I am aware that there are already some bugs about that ( bug #196631 ) but I cant consider how is that fixed. While I am trying to emerge cmake-2.6.2 I get the ./bootstrap error ( please see attached file ). Cant reproduce it on my other gentoo machine so I think that some configuration option is wrong ( or missing package? ). Please consider that this is a new gentoo installation ( a couple of days ) so many packages should be missing. Any proposed solutions or anything would be appreciated Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.emerge =dev-util/cmake-2.6.2 2. 3. Actual Results: ./boostrap error Expected Results: cmake should compile fine Attached files for build.log and emerge --info

Please, also paste your "emerge -pv cmake" output.
Closing as invalid. Seems there is a mix up with gcc upgrade plus the glibc-2.9. When I narrow it down i ll re-open it if needed
