I've attached a new ebuild "gramadoir-0.1.ebuild" for a package I finished recently -- a grammar checker for the Irish language. There is at least one other Irish speaker/Gentoo user out there who will be interested in this. It is also of broader interest as a platform for developing grammar checkers for other minority languages. I am new to Gentoo and this is my first ebuild-- I tested the configure on a sparc/x86/ppc/alpha so I hope everything is OK. I used autoconf but not automake. I have it as app-text/gramadoir since it is smarter than the stuff in app-dicts, but not integrated into an editor like app-editors. Thanks! Kevin Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

Thanks, it looks interesting :) I decided app-dict would probably be more appropriate, however i can move it if you have a convincing argument for app-text. I made a few minor adjustments to the ebuild, as --libexecdir isnt honoured (i've been asked to start consistently keeping libexecdir in /usr/lib/${PN}) and i added some minimum versions for dependencies that reflect what i've tested it with. The only testing i've done is compare the output of the triail file, so hopefully thats enough. Thanks for the submission, the ChangeLog reads *gramadoir-0.2 (04 Sep 2003) 04 Sep 2003; Tavis Ormandy <taviso@gentoo.org> gramadoir-0.2.ebuild, metadata.xml: Initial import, Thanks to Kevin Scannell <scannell@slu.edu> for submitting the ebuild in #25056 RESOLVED, FIXED.
Thanks, Tavis. I like the sed tweaks. Oh, and app-dicts is fine with me. --Kevin
