Hi,

i extend mirror for ftp site and rsync

Hi Marek,

Thanks for wanting to help Gentoo with more mirrors.

Please make sure the gentoo-portage mirror is setup and syncing twice an hour as mentioned at http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/rsync.xml

I've added the mirrors to our test system and we'll keep you posted on their progress.

Hi Marek, the FTP mirror looks good, but the gentoo-portage mirror was lagging by ~50 minutes (maximum allowed is 30 minutes) intermittently (April 10th, 11th and 15th). Could you investigate and make sure that the sync is happening regularly?

Looks like we missed the HTTP mirror in tests. FTP looks good.

Marek, could you get back to us on the gentoo-portage problem?

Have you set things up exactly as specified in the documentation at http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/rsync.xml, including the sync times?

Your rsync goes in and out of sync, maximum lag is about 55 minutes. Looks like http/ftp stopped syncing around Fri Sep 24 or 25. Given that there hasn't been any feedback for 4+ months, I am going to close this bug. Please reopen if you would like to work on this and you can confirm that you have followed the instructions set forth.
