i tried to update glibc today from 2.3.1-r4 to 2.3.2-r1 and it fails during configure telling me 
that the LD_LIBRARY_PATH is set to the current directory. the variable mu

i tried to update glibc today from 2.3.1-r4 to 2.3.2-r1 and it fails during configure telling me 
that the LD_LIBRARY_PATH is set to the current directory. the variable mußt be set during the 
emerge because normally i dint set it at all. emerge stops and thats it. 

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge glibc-2.3.2-rc1

correction:  
only happens when LD_LIBRARY_PATH ends with ":" !?!
