Description Peter Volkov (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-12-09 14:06:11 UTC
For >=dictd-1.11.0 new dependency needed: dev-libs/libmaa . It was just added to the tree so, please, keyword dev-libs/libmaa-1.1.0 and put back keyword for app-text/dictd-1.11.0. Thank you in advance.
Comment 1 Tobias Klausmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-12-15 20:44:23 UTC
Keyworded both on alpha.
Comment 2 Jeroen Roovers (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-12-16 17:08:33 UTC
Marked ~hppa.
Comment 3 Ferris McCormick (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-12-16 17:49:23 UTC
Added ~sparc to dev-libs/libmaa and rekeyworded dictd for -1.11.0. All tests run for both, and dictd daemon restarts and finds its dictionaries.

Note: Sparc is big-endian, and if the ebuild cautionary message
ewarn "Tests are known to fail on big-endian systems (ppc, ppc64)"
were really correct, I'd expect tests to fail on sparc. But they don't. So something more than the system's endian orientation is involved in the known or expected failures.

mips done.
Comment 5 Raúl Porcel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-12-22 20:38:50 UTC
~ia64 done
Comment 6 Peter Volkov (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-12-28 18:47:34 UTC
Well, libmaa test failure on ppc64 is quite different from already known (and btw, probably fixed) issue in dictd. I've opened new upstream bug for this new issue:

Comment 7 Peter Volkov (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-03-01 09:29:23 UTC
New libmaa-1.1.1 and dictd-1.11.1 are in the tree. All tests are supposed to be fixed there. PPC{,64} teams, please, check them.
Comment 8 Brent Baude (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-03-15 13:35:49 UTC
~ppc64
Comment 9 Joe Jezak (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-03-18 06:53:02 UTC
Tests pass on ppc, marked ~ppc and closing since we're the last arch.
