After emerge --update world capisuite has problems converting recorded .la to .wav

Mails sent from capisuite for new calls has the following text: 
ERROR occured while converting file: Error while calling sox. Not installed?
Please talk to your friendly administrator.

I have installed capisuite-0.4.5-r5 (unstable masked), but the problem was not fixed.

Manually call of sox works.

Downgrade from sox-14.1.0 to 14.0.1 has fixed the problem (emerge =media-sound/sox-14.0.1).

Can somebody tell me what is the problem?

capisuite has probably not been updated and relied on stuff that has changed in this version of sox

I have found this in sox Changelog:

So I tried to change the cs_helper.py in 
/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/

# la -> wav
# don't use stdout as sox needs a file to be able to seek in it otherwise the header will be incomplete

For me it works.

net-dialup: I can confirm it's the correct fix, we are using similar patch in media-video/tovid-0.31-r1.
