Description Federico Ferri (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-12-05 20:34:56 UTC
please stabilize dev-tcltk/tdom-0.8.2 as currenty version (0.8.0) has some security issues.
Comment 1 stupendoussteve 2008-12-05 21:59:22 UTC
No version of dev-tcltk/tdom is stable. If it has security issues wouldn't it make more sense to mask or remove the affected versions, then look at stabilizing as a normal stabilization request?
Comment 2 Santiago M. Mola (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-12-05 22:05:31 UTC
Federico, when there are no previous stable versions you can just remove the affected ebuilds. No stabilization needed, so you can close this bug and #248173 (after removing the old ebuilds).

If you consider this package should go stable you can request it, at least, after the usual 30 days period.

UnCC'ing arches.
