Please make EAPI 1 compatible ebiuld of pspp-0.6.1 (pspp-0.6.0 like) and make it official until new stable emerge will be ready.

"make it official" ?

EAPI choice is up to the ebuild maintainer. Since Gentoo does not advocate mixing ARCH & ~ARCH trees, this most likely will not get fixed. You can use a ~ARCH portage and then this ebuild will not be masked.

Regardless, assigning to maintainer for thier opinion. We shall see what they would like to do.

Hi,

sci-mathematics is really understaffed at the moment and we won't have time for maintaining multi-eapi ebuilds. 
As Jeremy said, a suggestion is to either unmask a version of package manager that supports EAPI-2 or do your own ebuild in your local overlay.
