Description Andrés Becerra Sandoval 2008-12-05 03:06:19 UTC
My /etc/conf.d/xdm has DISPLAYMANAGER="kdm-3.5"

kdm starts correctly always. The problem comes when I log out, kdm crashes and I have to log in the text console and restart the xdm service.

This is the message I get in /var/log/xdm.log:

xdm error (pid 2791): Display :0 is being disabled

(EE) SIS(0): END OF MESSAGE
(EE) SIS(0): **************************************************

Fatal server error:
AddScreen/ScreenInit failed for driver 0

In /etc/make.conf I have VIDEO_CARDS="sis"

And this is my emerge --info output:

That seems to be an issue with your graphics driver or X server. I don't see how we can fix that ...
