For example, if you type "aña" (ñ=alt+241) and then try to delete de first "a" it will logout.

I can reproduce it but i have no clue how to fix it. I'm no expert on bash-completion. I only bump versions from time to time because no one else did.
Here with Eterm 0.9.2 + bash 2.05b-r7 + bash-completion 20031112 it doesn't have this problem anymore. I guess some update fixed it.
Works here. No complains during the last week. Closing the bug.
