Description Marius Mauch (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-07-20 17:50:21 UTC
In the Virtual Mailhosting Guide the following code listing still refers to
apache-1, as mod_ssl is included in apache-2 and the "standalone" version forces
portage to install apache-1 AND apache-2.

Code listing 8.1: Setting up apache and phpmyadmin
# emerge apache mod_php mod_ssl phpmyadmin

For the same reason all references to /etc/apache and other apache-1 directories
should be changed to their apache-2 counterparts.
Because apache-2 is now the stable version for Gentoo it should be corrected to

# emerge apache mod_php phpmyadmin

Reproducible: Always

Apache2 php support is still marked as "Mostly working". So I'm going to hold off until it's marked stable before upgrading. I did however add an apache version disclaimer to the guide.
