Description Sascha Silbe 2003-07-20 14:54:51 UTC
The package kde-base/kstars is installed and still owns some files on my system, but it cannot be unmerged:

=== Begin screenshot ===
root@cube:~# qpkg -f /usr/bin/kstars
kde-base/kstars *
root@cube:~# emerge unmerge kde-base/kstars

!!! Couldn't find match for kde-base/kstars

>>> unmerge: No packages selected for removal.
=== End screenshot ===

revdep-rebuild stumbles over this problem, too.

=== Begin emerge info ===

Does an unmerge of app-misc/kstars or app-sci/kstars work?
Comment 5 Sascha Silbe 2003-08-07 02:52:57 UTC
Both don't work:

root@cube:/usr/local/portage/kde-base/kdelibs# emerge app-misc/kstars
Calculating dependencies
emerge: there are no masked or unmasked ebuilds to satisfy "app-misc/kstars".

!!! Error calculating dependencies. Please correct.
root@cube:/usr/local/portage/kde-base/kdelibs# emerge app-sci/kstars
Calculating dependencies
emerge: there are no masked or unmasked ebuilds to satisfy "app-sci/kstars".

!!! Error calculating dependencies. Please correct.
root@cube:/usr/local/portage/kde-base/kdelibs#

Comment 6 Sascha Silbe 2003-10-14 01:12:17 UTC
I've finally resolved this by unmerging kdeedu-0.9 (not kstars-0.9) and merging
kdeedu-3.1.4.
Comment 7 Sascha Silbe 2003-10-21 03:31:43 UTC
Closing.
