gentoo-sources 2.4.20-r5 have "bcm5700" ver. 5.0.17 included while
www.broadcom.com has ver.6.2.11 05/16/03 available to download.

Such ethernet card comes with new IBM Thinkpad R40E laptops. Would be nice to
have it supported in upcoming Gentoo 1.4 :)

use pfeifer-sources-2.4.21_pre4 - it has the updated driver. this will be the next 
gentoo-sources.
