Description Nathaniel McCallum 2003-07-20 10:31:01 UTC
Boot any of the X based experimental liveCDs. After loading X (either kde,
gnome, or fluxbox) then try and run gdialog with any options. It segfaults.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Boot liveCD
2.Load X
3.Run gdialog

Expected Results:
it should have launched the dialog box and exited with an exitstatus.

This has to be fixed before I can continue to develop GLIS
(http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=55293 and http://glis.sourceforge.net)
for the experimental liveCDs.

ok, lost bug... its probaly running out of memory, the 2.4.20 xfs kernel
seems to handle this better, 2.4.21 had real issues.. but old as this
is im sure youve moved on.. reopen if needed
Comment 2 Chris Gianelloni (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-03-25 11:24:42 UTC
Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux".

I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers,
this is the only reasonable way to do this.
