I copy the analysis of the problem from http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-715444.html The reason is that you have not specified the match field (with option --name or -s). So the match field is determined by some heuristic depending on your search string corresponding to DEFAULT_MATCH_FIELD. Since your search string matches the regular expression "Art", it is assumed that you want to search the --license field. Of course, it is a bug that the match for "Art" is case-insensitive - this has already been changed in current eix svn trunk (i.e. >=eix-0.15.2).
