Should have added this.

Present ebuild is 3.7.4; present release is 3.7.6

Version 3.7.7 - 2008-12-12

* new ftp proxy auth type: proxy-user@host.
* new setting ftp:trust-feat (default no).
* changed GPL version to 3 (as gnulib modules require it).

Version 3.7.7 compiles and runs fine on x86 with renamed ebuild from version 3.7.4.

Thanks, Andreas........ I did the same.

Question: In order to build 3.7.4 from 3.7.7 I had to run ebuild, and edit Manifest a number of times 'til the hashes successfully verified.

Is there some trick that you used to bypass the hash checks?

quickest way is just 'ebuild lftp-3.7.7.ebuild digest' to regenerate the Manifest
