Really, it's dog slow to build on an eight core systems since it does not even try to build them in parallel.

Do you know if it fails already or should I just go and try it with -j14?

[You can consider this bug just as a reminder for myself, I'm not going into fix stuff while my tinderbox run is still going so I'm opening everything as a bug so I don't forget; feel free to leave this for me to fix!]
