Description Serge Matveev 2003-07-19 13:31:00 UTC
Default URI in OOdi settings (http://lingucomponent.openoffice.org) isn't working.
List of dictionaries is downloaded succesfully, but attempt to download any
dictionary returns error:

The requested URL /local-access-only/lingucomponent/www/es_ES.zip was not found
on this server.

In /usr/share/doc/ooodi-0.61/README.gz describet _right_ URI -
http://dict.progbits.com. This URI is correct.

Why this URI was changed in distribution - I don't know
Comment 1 Tobias Sager 2003-07-20 07:34:42 UTC
There is a different one listed as default in the manual (http://ooodi.sourceforge.net/OOodi.html):
  http://ftp.services.openoffice.org/pub/OpenOffice.org/contrib/dictionaries/

Or alternates:
  http://dict.progbits.com
  ftp://dicts.stardiv.de

Ok, there is many alternative URL's ... but this one not work.
Comment 3 Paul de Vrieze (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-07-31 12:53:02 UTC
Ok, I have marked ooodi-0.61 as broken. It's interface is also broken, 0.55 works well and has no issues. I don't feel like trying to fix whatever is broken with the interface. Please feel free though, to make a patch that fixes both the interface issues (not installing shared dictionaries) and the location. If you submit it I will put it in cvs.

It's a strange thing. Oodi installed shared dictionary very well (with right URI, of course and from root permissions)
Comment 5 Paul de Vrieze (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-08-01 02:08:18 UTC
With me (and oo 1.1-rc1), it installs a local dictionary when I press the button for the shared. The remove buttons behave even stranger.
