Description Jason Harris 2003-07-19 12:51:22 UTC
'emerge kcachegrind' fails while compiling the handbook with the attached error
message. I am using the KDE CVS Live ebuilds. I was able to compile manually
by making the following modifications to the index.docbook file:

1) change version of kdex.dtd to 4.2 V1.1 (it's 4.1 V1.0 in the tarball)

2) remove "&update.documentation;" line

make error message:

make[3]: Entering directory
`/var/tmp/portage/kcachegrind-0.3b/work/kcachegrind-0.3b/doc/en'
/usr/kde/cvs/bin/meinproc --check --cache index.cache.bz2 ./index.docbook
index.docbook:9: error: failed to load external entity "dtd/kdex.dtd"
]>

(this is followed by dozens of XML validity errors, caused by the failure of the
dtd)

Okay, since this is now in kde 3.2 / kde cvs, I am assuming this bug is not valid anymore.
