Description Damien 2008-11-22 10:04:04 UTC
app-office/openoffice-2.4.1 selection error when dragging cells. When drag down then drag back up from bottom does not deselect cells on the bottom. They stay black for the rest of the usage of the app until restarted/switch worksheets.

It is almost like it is interpreting the second drag as a 'additional' drag like when you use ctrl but it never deselects even when you click somewhere else.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open 'any' workbook in openoffice. Drag a region down (like when doing a fill down with the mouse.
2. Grab the corner control tab and deselect bottom rows.
3.Tab moves up but bottom rows stay selected.
4.Click somewhere else and the bottom rows you removed from the drag stay selected. They should not.

Actual Results:
Selected cells where should not be.

Expected Results:
Cells are deselected when you drag back up.

See screenshots. I have attached. I have also found this on other distro's (Ubuntu) so I think it is an issue with openoffice.

Please try with OOo 3.0, 2.4 will be removed from the tree soonish. Reopen the bug if the same problem shows up with 3.0
