I'm getting size based digest verification errors on the following kde-base/*-4.1.3 packages. This is with portage-2.2_rc14. I tried a resync but according to emerge.log, got the same rsync server, 91.186.30.235, boobie.gentoo.org, with similar results. * Digest verification failed: * /str/portage/kde-base/kdenetwork-meta/kdenetwork-meta-4.1.3.ebuild * Reason: Filesize does not match recorded size * Got: 744 * Expected: 747 * Digest verification failed: * /str/portage/kde-base/kdepasswd/kdepasswd-4.1.3.ebuild * Reason: Filesize does not match recorded size * Got: 487 * Expected: 490 * Digest verification failed: * /str/portage/kde-base/kdepim-icons/kdepim-icons-4.1.3.ebuild * Reason: Filesize does not match recorded size * Got: 364 * Expected: 367 * Digest verification failed: * /str/portage/kde-base/kdepim-kresources/kdepim-kresources-4.1.3.ebuild * Reason: Filesize does not match recorded size * Got: 1454 * Expected: 1457 * Digest verification failed: * /str/portage/kde-base/kdepimlibs/kdepimlibs-4.1.3.ebuild * Reason: Filesize does not match recorded size * Got: 807 * Expected: 810 * Digest verification failed: * /str/portage/kde-base/kdesdk-meta/kdesdk-meta-4.1.3.ebuild * Reason: Filesize does not match recorded size * Got: 1234 * Expected: 1237 * Digest verification failed: * /str/portage/kde-base/kdetoys-meta/kdetoys-meta-4.1.3.ebuild * Reason: Filesize does not match recorded size * Got: 587 * Expected: 590 * Digest verification failed: * /str/portage/kde-base/kdeutils-meta/kdeutils-meta-4.1.3.ebuild * Reason: Filesize does not match recorded size * Got: 910 * Expected: 913 The last changelog entry for the ones I checked was always this, so it's likely this commit did the damage: 15 Nov 2008; Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org> <blah>-4.1.3.ebuild: Add ppc/ppc64 love #244306.
Iconfirm this bug, I have the same bug after an "emerge --sync" today. My rsync URL was rsync://137.226.34.228/gentoo-portage. It seems several personal (at least 3) have the same bugs (the reporter of this bug, the reporter of the bug #247026 and me).
i'm pretty sure someone else has already fixed this. my machine crashed in the middle of committing ...
Yes yes we fixed it already. Actualy patrick did. Around 11am UTC. Today.
