The ebuild has a mistake the var SRC_URI is set as the following : SRC_URI="${P}.tar.bz2". Then it tries to download http://spring-2.0.6.tar.bz2/ which of course does not work.

Forgot to mention this ebuild is part of the java-overlay.

Bump .... this ebuild causes emerge --metadata to fail and makes it hard to determine real sync problems from this. Since this ebuild has obviously not worked in a year can we at least remove it from the tree until someone resurrects it.

Removed spring from java-experimental overlay. Note there seems to be newer
work on spring-framework, also in java-exp.
