Hi! I added the new Homepage (at sourceforge) and the new download location to the kile-1.5.2.ebuild. The ebuild works really well for me. Greetings Christian
hi 1.5.2 works! but don't try to emerge it if you have net-print/xprint installed. First you have to rename /usr/X11R6/lib/libz.a, then kile-configure works. Afterwards you can name zlib.a back. It works for me till now :-) Then I tried to set a icon for kile and I found them under /usr/share/icons/hicolor/ shouldn't they be in /usr/kde/3.1/share/icons/hicolor/? I mean: --prefix=/usr/kde/3.1 or is this only for kde-apps from kde-base,... thanx joe
Works for me (gcc 3.3). Cheers
Created attachment 18279 [details] kile-1.6b1 ebuild Let's at least get that kile-1.5.2 ebuild into portage. 1.6b1 is already out!
Am I the only one who does not get the LaTeX reference installed with kile 1.5.2? It does install with 1.5, but not with 1.5.2. Can't really tell why since the ebuild is so short and basically identical. However, it does install if I get the source from their website manually and compile it myself. When I select the "LaTeX Reference" from the Help tab, I get answered "File not found". Is it possible that the ebuild is pointing to a previous beta that has not been updated?
in portage.
