Name: Rudy Grigar Nick: basic Email: basic@osuosl.org Location: Corvallis, Oregon, USA Responsibility: Infra sysadmin staffer Rudy is joining us to help with cfengine foo, on a recommendation from Lance (ramereth) - they both work at OSUOSL. I'll be mentoring him.
Rudy: This is just the 'paperwork' side of joining Gentoo. Could you please fill out the staff quiz: http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/devrel/quiz/staff-quiz.txt You can ask me questions on it (it's like an open-book test), and you need to send it to me for initial approval, and then to recruiters@gentoo.org.
quiz answers forwarded to recruiters.
I will be your recruiter. Please contact me by IRC or email to schedule the review session. If you think that recruiters aren't paying attention to this bug at any later point in time, it's your job to ping us on IRC if you don't want any delays.
Quiz review was today. What we did: - LDAP - gentoo-core - bugzilla - announcement - sent you your LDAP/mail password via encrypted mail - basic kept his osuosl cloak What you need to do: - subscribe to mailing lists with @gentoo.org address - request forum status bump in #gentoo-forums or by mail to forum-mods@gentoo.org (if you have a forums count) - send yourself mail to create .maildir - add yourself to mail aliases ( like java@gentoo.org ) see /var/mail/alias on dev.gentoo.org - set lat and lon attributes in LDAP if you want others to know where exactly you are located - set gentooIM if you want people to be able to contact you via other means than email
Rudy, are you still doing any infra work? If not, are you doing any other work for Gentoo?
