net-wireless/wpa_supplicant[qt4] depends on the x11-libs/qt meta instead of the subpackages it actually needs.

You didn't mention which version you are using -- try 0.6.4, which has more specific qt4 dependencies. Is that what you were looking for?

Stable, 0.5.7.

Why would I need an unstable/testing version just for proper dependencies?
