after installing gtk-engines-qt, the little sucker wasnt showing up in the system settings like it was supposed to. in order to get it to work, i had to move the file /usr/share/applications/kde4/kcmgtk4.desktop to /usr/share/kde4/services/kcmgtk4.desktop ... then it started showing up just fine. this is with KDE-4.1.2 Portage 2.2_rc13 Mostly weird is that it shows up for me... even with fresh install... but it really should be in services so i will modify the ebuild so it works like that... Thanks for reporting
i have exactly same problem on 64bit system, while i don't in a x86.
