New release of the 8.3 branch is out. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Bumping the existing postgresql-(base,docs,server) ebuilds from 8.3.4 works without a hitch. Newly emerged system runs fine without noticeable regressions (so far, on my system etc.)
Just to have it mentioned here (from the release notes): "These updates are critical for users of GiST indexes and databases in some non-English languages and should be applied as soon as possible."
Please add this to portage. I have unpatched servers that need these fixes applied.

Can one do something to help this go in faster? As reporter states, a bump worked fine..
