Happens on 0.9.5 through 0.9.8, with dvutil 0.16.3 installed.  Confirmed with
several people on IRC.  /usr/share/aclocal/dvutil.m4 is my first suspect.

this was fixed 10 minutes after it was in cvs.
please update your portage tree

There's nothing but dvssl depending on dvnet in the entire portage tree.

dv* libraries are for educational purposes. They allow students at the free university of brussels to use net (sockets) etc from within their first C++ programs.

Apparently the sed line introduced the syntax error. Ebuild is cleaner now. 
Can anyone test .8? The sed line was in there for a sandbox violation, not 100% sure if it is still valid as I don't use sandbox.
