When I launch ooffice, the splash screen is wrong. It shows Office.org 3 on the left and Open on the right, as if the picture had been cut in half and inverted. I'll join a snapshot if I can. Perhaps when the splash was changed it was corrupted?
It appears that the /usr/lib/openoffice/program/intro.bmp file has a curious size : 441x286. This size is incorrectly handled bu the splash screen. I converted the file to 444x288 and it is correctly displayed. Other size also works but then the progress bar is not quite good looking.

Well I also have the splash in the "wrong" size and it displays just fine here, so I guess something else must happen here too.
