Description Christophe Borivant 2008-11-04 18:01:09 UTC
After upgrading dhcpcd to 4.0.2 from 3.0.16, \000 is being appended to the domainname. My company dhcp server is a windows 2003 server.

The problem has been reported here by someone else and it seems easy to fix with a little patch:
http://git.marples.name/projects/dhcpcd/ticket/120

Could this patch be taken in account in the ebuild ?

Reproducible: Always
Comment 1 Roy Marples 2008-11-04 23:14:52 UTC
dhcpcd-4.0.4 has the patch and is already in portage.

Ok, I upgraded with keywords ~x86 and I can confirm the problem disappeared
