Description Jerome Potts 2008-11-04 03:00:48 UTC
Just submitted bug 245469, and the bug system/web site has anchored irrelevant http links to words in the "Actual Results" part of report

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1. View bug 245469
2. Scroll down to "Description" section, "Actual Results:" paragraph
3.

Actual Results:
2.: Notice how "attachment" has a link to http://bugs.gentoo.org/attachment.cgi?id=2&action=view , as well as "[edit]" (which was not part of the original text)

Given the associated attachment, it is behaving correctly.
Comment 2 Jerome Potts 2008-11-04 16:49:38 UTC
The data i attached is http://bugs.gentoo.org/attachment.cgi?id=170679&action=view , and is correctly linked to in " ------- Comment #1 From Jerome Potts 2008-11-04 02:47:36 0000 -------", whereas the links i am complaining about are located elsewhere, as described already, and point to http://bugs.gentoo.org/attachment.cgi?id=2&action=view and http://bugs.gentoo.org/attachment.cgi?id=2&action=view respectively, which attachment is a "graphviz-1.7.7.ebuild", definitely not mine.
Comment 3 Jeroen Roovers (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-11-04 19:15:34 UTC
It's simply seeing attachment[:space:][:digit:] and assumes it's a reference to a bugzilla attachment. It's a feature!

Of course, what you think is the second attachment to your bug report is not the second attachment (attachment #2 [details]) that Gentoo's bugzilla ever received.

If you don't like it, you will need to speak to the bugzilla developers. As a workaround, provide a descriptive label for each attachment and refer to those.
