Description Chris Gianelloni 2008-11-03 11:38:35 UTC
OK. We've got udev 124 stable, but are still pushing multipath-tools 0.4.7 versions. I'd love to see 0.4.8 stabilized (after bug #235836 is resolved) as quickly as possible, as this would fix multipath capabilities for stable users who have not modified the default configuration.
Comment 1 Chris Gianelloni 2008-11-03 11:42:45 UTC
I know that some people dislike this, but I'm setting the severity to critical, since it can completely stop multipath-enabled devices from being correctly setup, in the default configuration, no less. We don't want to be killing our SAN performance, now, do we?

Please add the arches if you guys agree that we shouldn't let our users with SAN environments suffer with loss of redundancy/performance (only using 1 path per device).

feel free to add arches yourself in the future. no one really actively cares about this package.

Marked ppc stable. Closing since we're the last arch.
