Description Aaron Jones 2008-10-31 23:16:22 UTC
the example fstab listing on the page and in fstab for a stage 3 install should match the scheme being used, so that it boots for new users, for example who don't know the difference between their root and boot partition (especially for grub too), and knowlegeable users still know what to change.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Comment 1 Xavier Neys (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-10-31 23:39:50 UTC
1. not an infra bug
2. partition scheme is consistent across document, i.e. /boot in sda1 swap in sda2 and / in sda3
3. "Users should already have prior experience with installing Gentoo Linux if they want to follow this guide."

the example grub.conf / fstab in a stage 3 install is not.
