I think that RubyGems 1.2.0 should be stabilized as soon as possible. Reason for that is that version 1.1.1 which have been stable one crashes when installing a gem while updating list of gems. It uses MASSIVE (c.a. 1 gig) amounts of RAM. I've installed unstable 1.2.0 version and no such problems occured. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
Agreed. Arches, please stabilize rubygems 1.2.0. Although we have not seen the large use of ram ourselves, rubygems 1.2.0 contains a number of other improvements and bug fixes that we would like to get out there.
Sparc stable. I've been using it since late June, and it seems fine.
