Whenever I close a non-modal (not a dialog box) window in Mozilla Firebird, it crashes with the following error: Gdk-ERROR **: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) serial 44241 error_code 3 request_code 4 minor_code 0 Gdk-ERROR **: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) serial 44242 error_code 3 request_code 4 minor_code 0 All the windows close and the process exits. As far as I can tell, the error_code is always 3, the request_code is either 4 or 15, and the minor_code is always 0. Examples of windows which cause this behaviour are the Manage Bookmarks window, the Find window, and the Help->About window. This is an almost-brand-new install of Gentoo and Firebird, and I haven't yet had time to change any settings from the defaults.
Ah, it seems this is a Kahakai bug (my window manager) rather than a Firebird bug. See http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=758236&group_id=82102&atid=565048 Since the Kahakai dev team knows about it, I suggest that this bug can be closed.
