this package hasnt been touched for real in like 6 years, lacks an upstream, and has open bugs/issues. nothing uses it. drop it like it's hot (and has crabs).
After a bit of browsing around it seems that Mandriva is still using this as part of the harddrake tool, but I could not find a homepage for it and I'm not sure it would be useful on a Gentoo system anyway. +1 on removing it from the tree.
We own it Mike. We've only got to kick it over to treecleaners if no one owns it. I've masked it for Nov 27th removal, which I guess is Thanksgiving so it'll get removed there abouts.
i kick things i own to treecleaners because it makes them do the footwork. i'm too lazy to pmask things and such and they have a process ;).
