Description Benoit LOCHER 2003-07-13 12:48:13 UTC
Hello,

Please find attached k8000.tar.gz containing libk8000-2.1.2.ebuild and
kel-1.0.ebuild. These ebuilds are about controlling the Velleman k8000
electronic I/O board via the i2c bus.

- libk8000 is a library for low-level access to the k8000 board, written by
Joris: http://struyve.mine.nu:8080/index.pl?block=k8000

- kel is a programming environment, event-driven, on top of libk8000. This
allows to control the k8000 using a dedicated and simple programming and
compiled language.

I suggest dev-libs/libk8000 and dev-libs/kel as locations for the ebuilds. They
deal with programming, low-level hardware access, i2c and k8000 of course.

Best Regards,

Beno

this isn't for the doc-team
Comment 5 Brian Jackson (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-10-16 15:37:23 UTC
Umm, we don't really have the capacity for this one either
Comment 6 Daniel Black (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-03-05 02:17:01 UTC
Going to close this as "won't". If you and many others disagree lodge your protest here and it will be reconsidered. We don't have the hardware and doubt many people do. Appreciate the effort you went to though and please don't hesitate to contribute another ebuild.
